GOLDEN HOUR

There is nothing quite like the feeling of a warm glow. This potion is a nod to an ayurvedic recipe for golden milk and our dear friend who is the embodiment of that sentiment. We use Reishi to open the heart, a mixture of warming spices to nuture and chamomile to calm.  This beverage should be enjoyed as the sun begins to set and will calm the spirit, soothe the mind and will help regulate circadian rhythm.

INGREDIENTS

1 1⁄2 cups coconut milk 1 bag chamomile tea
1 teaspoon Reishi
1 tablespoon coconut oil 1 pinch ginger
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch cardamom
1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric 4 drops vanilla stevia

DIRECTIONS

Gently heat the coconut milk with the chamomile tea bag in a small saucepan for five minutes. Remove the tea bag and discard. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for around 20 seconds. If you do not have a blender combine ingredients with a milk frother or whisk. Pour into your favourite vessel and enjoy.
